As the seasons change from fall to winter, we all start pulling those cozy winter accessories out of our closet and prepping for the cold! But what about keeping your fingers free to text, write, drive, etc. even while you’re trying to keep warm? These cozy fingerless gloves are just the thing to keep you warm but not restrict your movement, either! They are stylish, comfy, and so easy to make – which is why this is a great pattern for beginners, as well!

Comfy Cozy Fingerless Gloves

The fingerless gloves cover below the wrist all the way up past the knuckles, so your hands will be warm and protected from the chilly air. Plus, the yarn is soft, fluffy and so gorgeous with its variegated pattern! Since the gloves are made as flat panels and then sewn together, the pattern is very easy and works up fast. So whether your a beginner or an expert in crochet, you can enjoy making these gloves!

When designing these gloves, I knew I wanted a yarn with medium weight and a stylish line of colors. That’s when I found some lovely Lion Brand Landscapes in my stash! The color I used is called “Sand Dune” (on Amazon HERE), which I think is the perfect blend of neutrals and fall tones as we make the transition from fall to winter. But they have some beautiful solids, as well as colorful variegated combinations, all in the same line of yarn!

Thanks to the versatility in colorways of this yarn, you can make a pair for everyone on your holiday gift list and still come up with a totally unique pair that suits each person!!! And another reason you can make multiples of these fun and easy gloves is because they work up so quickly. Each glove is a small panel of single crochet with a single crochet rib built onto the bottom, so it’s basic and fast while still looking really cute when finished!

These gloves are made to be one-size-fits most for women and teens, but the size can easily be adjusted. To make them wider, make more chains at the beginning; to make them longer, make more single crochet rows than what the pattern calls for. It’s that simple!

So who’s ready to try their hand at this fun and cozy pattern? (See what I did there….”hand”…?!) Let’s go!!!

    Hello-
Great pattern! Just wanted to point out that I think you forgot to say to single crochet in the back loop only on the cuffs. No biggie really just wanted to give you a heads up.

Hi Lynda! Thank you so much, I’m glad you enjoyed it! Oh I see that it’s not mentioned on Row 1 of the cuff, but above Row 1 it says “Cuff is worked in BLO”! I can add it to the first row as a reminder too 🙂 Thank you for pointing it out! ~ Melissa
