It’s time for my Ghost Post!!  Here is Part 2 of my Halloween Scarf CAL – the terrific and terrifying Ghost!  This ghost is designed to have your typical “floating ghost” kind of look, and my favorite thing about him is that he looks like he’s making that corny “ooooOOOOooo” noise that ghosts make always make on TV, and in cartoons and movies.  This ghost is the perfect accent to this spooky scarf that we’ve been crocheting!  (See the adorable Pumpkin we made in Part 1 of this Halloween Scarf CAL!)

Ready to crochet up something BOO-tiful?!  Then let’s get started!

Eyes (Make 16)

Rnd 1 – Make a magic ring, 4 sc in ring.  Sl st to first sc (4 sc).
Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.  Weave in magic ring ends.

Assembly
(Note: for one side of double-sided Ghost, sew face onto Right Side. For other side of double-sided Ghost, sew face onto Wrong Side.)

Sew eyes to head of ghost. Use one of the tails from the eyes to sew a mouth below the eyes – loosely sew a small line repeatedly until a round “o” shape forms. Tie off ends on back of ghost.

Place two Ghosts together so that head, appendages, and bottoms line up.  Sew ghosts together and leave a yarn tail at the head of the ghost for sewing to other characters in the scarf.

Here is the finished Ghost!

And here is another sneak peak at the finished scarf!
