The popularity of unicorns has surged over recent years – but are you aware of the other magical equine known as the Pegasus? Meet Moonbeam – a cuddly, beautiful amigurumi Pegasus who kids of all ages will love as a stuffed toy or decor! Her curly, rainbow mane and tail are magical, her size is just right to be a snuggly stuffed animal in any collection, and most of all – she is easy to crochet! Amigurumi crochet pattern lovers will appreciate the fact that this piece is not made in several pieces that all need to be sewn on – just a few, and the curly pieces are all made in just one piece!!! No sewing!!! Phew! Crochet a magical new friend for the little one in your life – and / or create a beautiful new piece of decor for a loved one of any age – with this easy pattern!

Moonbeam the Pegasus

The style I was going for with this lovely little horsey is whimsical, magical and kawaii. I’m very happy with the results! Most of all, I really, REALLY didn’t want this pattern to consist of a million different pieces that all need to be sewn on. Yet I knew I wanted lush curls on the mane and tail. I managed to find a way to do both! You’ll find out more in the pattern about how to construct the “panel” of curls and one long piece of curls for the tail that is shaped afterwards. To top it off, she has lovely, fluttery wings that might look familiar, because they are the same wings that you can find in my Buffy the Baby Dragon crochet pattern! What a great gift idea this is for anyone who loves kawaii animals, toys, rainbows, etc. Moonbeam is the first of a collection that I am planning, so be sure to keep an eye out for more magical pony patterns!
