These pizza flip flops are the perfect summer footwear for any pizza lover! They are easy to make and fun to wear. Made using sturdy cotton yarn, the pizza motifs add some flair to your favorite pair of flip flops while still being sturdy. So you can add a slice of fun to your summer with this pattern!

One thing I really enjoy about these flip flops is that the pizza motif provides some extra fabric that makes the flip flops feel a bit more snug, so they don’t feel like they are about to fall off. I love wearing flip flops just about everywhere in the summer, but hate having the feeling that they’re about to slip off!

(Pin it for later!)

Since these are flip flops, I wanted to use a yarn that was lightweight and breathable for summertime. I went with Lily Sugar n Cream yarn by Yarnspirations – it has a tight and sturdy feel, but is 100% cotton, which makes it great for warm weather! I used Yellow, Red, and Ecru for the cheese, pepperoni/sauce, and crust. (Find Yellow on Amazon HERE, Red on Amazon HERE, and Ecru on Amazon HERE!) I’m really happy with how all the colors look together! It’s a classic pizza look!

Another one for the plus column – the pizza motifs for these flip flops barely use any yarn! Only small amounts of Ecru and Red are needed, and you will have lots left over of the Yellow yarn (which makes of the majority of the pizza) after making the two slices. So, crochet away and make as many of these pizzas as you can! All you need are some favorite flip flops (I used Dollar Tree flip flops, so there’s no need to break the bank) and 1 skein each (or even less) of the yarns listed here.

So who’s ready to have a pizza party? I know I am! Let’s go!
