Have fall-tastic fun this Halloween with this cute and easy to make Scarecrow Hat! The pattern contains instructions on how to crochet both Kids and Adult sizes, so you can make one for all the scarecrows you know! The hat is easy to customize with embellishments like patches, leaves, and sunflowers – what a great way to DIY your costume this year!

Scarecrow Hat

Halloween hats are some of the most fun things to make, especially as we all start highly anticipating the autumn season! Last year, I got such an overwhelmingly awesome response to my Candy Corn Witch Hat (pattern HERE), that I decided to make even more fun costume hats this year! (Psst, one of those is my new Wicked Stripes Witch Hat – pattern HERE!) It doesn’t get much more fall-ish than an iconic decoration like a scarecrow, which is probably why scarecrow costumes are so popular for both kids and adults! The pattern includes sizing for both, and can be customized with all kinds of different appliques, embellishments, and even color changes. Plus, it’s a fun, easy, and fast pattern to follow!

The yarn I used for this scarecrow hat has been a favorite of mine for a while now, and I think it’s that perfect rustic brown color for a hat like this! Red Heart Super Saver in Cafe Latte can be found on Amazon HERE!
