It’s hard to believe it’s been four whole years since I started my blog! I’ve learned so much, designed so many things, and have gotten to see lots of your beautiful finished crocheted goodies that you’ve made from my patterns! I’m so grateful for every single person who has used my patterns! Supplies
Size D-3 3.25 mm crochet hook
Medium weight yarn in:

  • Beige (Red Heart Super Saver in Buff used in photos) – about 50 yds
  • White (Red Heart Super Saver in White used in photos) – about 20 yds
  • Brown (Caron Simply Soft in Taupe) – about 15 yds)
  • Pink (Red Heart Super Saver in Perfect Pink used in photos) – less than 1 yd
  • Black (Red Heart Super Saver in Black used in photos) – less than 1 yd

Light or medium weight rainbow yarn (Bernat Baby Coordinates in Candy Baby used in photos) – less than 5 yds) – alternatively, several yarns in multiple colors could be used instead of rainbow yarn
1 pair of 12 mm safety eyes
Fiberfill stuffing
Yarn Needle
Scissors

How to Make This

Instructions
Cookie
This piece is worked in continuous rnds; do not join. You may wish to use a stitch marker and move it up at the beginning of each new rnd.
Rnd 1 – with beige yarn, make a magic ring. 6 sc in ring. (6 sc)
Rnd 2 – 2 sc in each st around. (12 sc)
Rnd 3 – *2 sc in next st, sc in next st;* rep from * to * around. (18 sc)
Rnd 4 – *2 sc in next st, sc in next 2 sts;* rep from * to * around. (24 sc)
Rnd 5 – *2 sc in next st, sc in next 3 sts;* rep from * to * around. (30 sc)
Rnd 6 – *2 sc in next st, sc in next 4 sts;* rep from * to * around. (36 sc)
Rnd 7 – *2 sc in next st, sc in next 5 sts;* rep from * to * around. (42 sc)
Rnd 8 – *2 sc in next st, sc in next 6 sts;* rep from * to * around. (48 sc)
Rnd 9 – *2 sc in next st, sc in next 7 sts;* rep from * to * around. (54 sc)
Rnds 10 – 12 – sc in each st around (first photo below). (54 sc)
Rnd 13 – *sc in next st, sc2tog (second photo below) over next 2 sts;* rep from * to * around (third photo below). Change to white yarn in last st. (36 sc)
Rnds 14 – 18 – sc in each st around. Change to beige yarn in last st of Rnd 18. Attach safety eyes between Rnds 16 and 17, about 4 sts apart (fourth photo below). (36 sc)
Rnd 19 – *sc in next st, 2 sc in next st;* rep from * to * around (fifth photo below). (54 sc)
Rnds 20 – 22 – sc in each st around. Begin stuffing; keep bottom cookie (beige) piece as flat as possible while stuffing ice cream (white) portion. (54 sc)
Rnd 23 – *sc2tog over next 2 sts, sc in next 7 sts;* rep from * to * around. (48 sc)
Rnd 24 – *sc2tog over next 2 sts, sc in next 6 sts;* rep from * to * around. (42 sc)
Rnd 25 – *sc2tog over next 2 sts, sc in next 5 sts;* rep from * to * around. (36 sc)
Rnd 26 – *sc2tog over next 2 sts, sc in next 4 sts;* rep from * to * around. (30 sc)
Rnd 27 – *sc2tog over next 2 sts, sc in next 3 sts;* rep from * to * around. (24 sc)
Rnd 28 – *sc2tog over next 2 sts, sc in next 2 sts;* rep from * to * around. Finish stuffing, while keeping both cookie (beige) pieces as flat as possible (sixth photo below). (18 sc)
Rnd 29 – *sc2tog over next 2 sts,* sc in next st; rep from * to * around. (12 sc)
Rnd 30 – *sc2tog over next 2 sts;* rep from * to * around. (6 sc)
Rnd 31 – sc2tog over next 2 sts. Leave rem sts unworked. (5 sc)
Fasten off, leaving tail for sewing together gap from Rnd 31.

Ear (make 2)
With white yarn, ch 2.
Row 1 – in 2nd ch from hook, make 2 sc. Ch 1, turn (2 sc)
Row 2 – sc in each st across. Ch 1, turn (2 sc)
Row 3 – 2 sc in next 2 sts. Ch 1, turn (4 sc)
Row 4 – sc in each st across. Change to beige yarn in last st. Ch 1 (first photo below) (4 sc)
Edging
Working up side of piece, evenly make 3 sc (second photo below). In tip of ear, [sc, ch 1, sc] (third photo below). Working down other side, evenly make 3 sc (fourth photo below). Working across bottom, sc in next 4 sts. Join with sl st to first st of Edging (fifth photo below). (12 sc)
Fasten off, leaving long tail for sewing.

Finishing
With brown yarn, sew vertically or horizontally in one spot on Cookie (beige) portion several times to make a Chocolate Chip. Repeat as many times as desired. (First photo below.)

Sew Ears to top of piece, one near each edge, aligned in the center. (Second photo below.)

With brown yarn, make small whiskers on either side of each Eye. With black yarn, make a small “v” between Eyes for Smile. With pink yarn, make small horizontal lines under each Eye for Blush. With rainbow yarn, sew small lines all around piece for Sprinkles. (Third photo below).

Weave in all ends and/or tie off and hide knots inside sts.
